Soil tests, fertilizers and amendments
In spring we got 3 soil tests from International Ag Labs (IAL) along with recommendations. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that they like to use lots of CHEMICALS and I was unable to get organic recommendations for our hoophouse and new mini orchard. So the struggle to find organic fertilizers and amendments began.

Our water tests
We get our water from a very deep and old aquifer, there is no commercial farming, but we do show traces of glyphosate, 2, 4-D, picloram and much more. How did it get into our aquifer?

2011 Logan Labs soil tests and 2015 hoophouse updates
Updated 8/30/15: In 2011 we did two tests, one of NATIVE soil in the hoophouse and one for our lower garden after the first growing season. In 2015 we were in for a big surprise in the hoophouse, and it wasn't good!
